Meals at Heathcote Care Home are home cooked and are as interesting and varied as possible. Special diets including vegetarian, diabetic or fat free can be catered for and we always have choices available at all meal times.
Of course, visitors are welcome to join residents for a meal if they wish. We supply beverages to visitors free of charge, but we ask for a contribution of £3.50 if a visitor is staying for lunch or supper meal.
The kitchen facilities are not accessible to residents owing to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations but resident’s have access to the middle lounge kitchenette and food preparation, cake baking and decoration is part of out activity program.
Meals can be served in the Resident’s own room if they require this although we encourage socialising at these times of the day. Residents can avail themselves of drinks and snacks at most times by requesting these from care staff.
We have our night owl club offering activities and food for those who are awake at night.
